Join us for our next "Sip and Ride," a unique pairing of equestrian excellence with the elegance of wine tasting and the fun of "horse trivia!" (Note: April 27th riding spots are sold out - however, we do have some spots left for wine tasting, trivia, and watching the horses.)

Guests are welcomed into an afternoon of wine, food, and equine exploration and enjoyment, strictly curated for attendees who are 21 and over. Please bring one (or more) bottles of your favorite wines to enjoy and share with the rest of the attendees.

These events unfold at 1:00 p.m. and runs for around 90-minutes, packed with engaging activities, delicious food, and informative sessions.

For those who wish to ride, the afternoon kicks off with a mini horseback riding lesson. Catering to both beginners and experienced riders, our knowledgeable instructors will riders through the basics, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable riding experience.

Non-riders are welcome to join the group at 1 p.m. to watch the riding, or they can arrive at around 1:45 p.m. to join in just the wine and trivia.

Wine tasting and trivia follows the riding. During this section of the event, participants will have the opportunity to sample and learn about a variety of the area's most popular wines, complemented by a serving of meticulously chosen appetizers to enhance the tasting experience.

As the group enjoys wine, charcuterie, and select desserts, all will be able to participate in our lighthearted "horse trivia" game.

ADDED BONUS: Guests may bring photos and/or videos of their horses or riding to the event, and Danielle (🥈a USDF Silver Medal rider 🥈and USEF "r" Dressage judge) will be happy to review them and answer questions around them.

Riders and non-riders, alike, are welcome at Sip & Ride.It's a GREAT way to make new friends who love horses! This photo is from our January 2024 Sip & Ride.

We welcome and teach both English and western at Revelation Farm.

Those who want to ride may enjoy a mini horseback riding lesson on one of our well-trained, gentle school horses. Oh, and our trainer, Danielle Perry, is a USDF Silver Medal rider who is also a USEF "r" dressage judge! Talk about a high-end instructor!

Are riding helmets provided if one wants to protect her or his head?

While adults are not required to wear helmets (except when jumping) we do encourage the use of them. However, we do not have helmets available to borrow. If you want to wear a helmet while riding but do not already own a riding helmet, you can purchase one at :

Do you have to be an experienced rider to participate in the Sip & Ride?

No, you actually do not need to have any riding experience at all! We can help those who have never ridden to give riding a try. We can also work with those who are experienced to have some fun on our horses, while getting a few "tips and tricks" from our outstanding instructor! Additionally, we welcome non-riders (those who want to attend the event but who do not wish to ride).

Does the farm have a climate controlled office or other room for the wine tasting and trivia portion of the event?

Yes. We have a climate controlled office where the wine tasting and trivia will take place. The riding portion will take place outside in our riding arena. Guests who need to remain in air conditioning or heat (depending on the time of year) can stay in the office during the event.

Will this event take place indoors or outdoors?

The wine and trivia will take place in the barn, in the climate controlled office. The horseback riding will take place outdoors, in the arena.

During the riding portion of the evening, will riders be able to jump, if they want to?

We won't offer any jumping during the riding portion of the Sip & Ride event. If you are interested in jumping horses, please talk to Danielle about horseback riding lessons. You can text or call Danielle at: 404-219-1266.

Is there a cost associated with attending the event, and, if so, what does it cover?

The cost is:

$75 for the wine, riding, and trivia

$30 for just the wine and trivia

How long is the event expected to last?

The total event run time will be approximately 90-minutes.

Is the event only for those over age 21?

Yes, you must be at least 21-years-old to sign-up for this event. If you are younger than 21, please contact us about riding lessons, instead.

What kind of wine will be provided, and is there a limit to the amount of wine each participant can have?

We will be tasting a variety of locally favorite wines while we play trivia.

As this is a wine tasting, only, there will be a limit to the amount of wine consumed.

Is registration required to attend the event? If so, how can people register, and is there a registration fee?

Yes, advanced registration is required. Please click here to register. All registrations but be submitted no later than 24 hours in advance of the event. The fee to register is $75 for wine, ride, and trivia. If you just want to do the wine and trivia portion, the cost is just $30.

Will participants be provided with horses for the event? Do they need to bring any riding gear or equipment?

Horses and tack are included.

Will there be any food or snacks provided, or should participants bring their own?

Appetizers, wine, and water will be provided. Each participant should bring 1 (or more) bottles of wine for sharing and tasting.

What happens in case of inclement weather? Is there a rain date or a cancellation policy?

In case of storms, please call 404-219-1266 to verify that event is still being held.

If the event is cancelled due to weather, it will most likely be held on the following Saturday. However, please call 404-219-1266 to verify this.

Is there parking available at the event location? Are there any transportation options for those who don't have their own means of getting there?

Yes, there is plenty of parking.

For those who need transportation, Uber is an excellent option.

Is there a recommended dress code for the event, especially for horse riding?

Riders should wear long pants, a close-fitting shirt, and boots.

If boots are not available, riders must wear close-toed, hard soled shoes with heels of at least 1/4 inch.

What is the event's cancellation policy in case someone can't attend?

Refunds will be given to those cancelling at least 48-hours prior to the event. Those cancelling after 48-hour in advance will not receive a refund.

Are you allowed to bring your own horse?

No, sorry. We'll just be riding Revelation Farm horses at the Sip & Ride. However, if you are interested in riding lessons on your own horse, we would be happy to discuss that option with you.

Is the wine tasting and trivia happening before, during, or after riding?

Wine tasting and trivia takes place after the riding.

Where will the riding take place?

What kind of food will be served?

Light hors d'oeuvres.

Who is Rachel and what is her experience with equine massage?

Rachel Elizabeth started her equestrian journey 23 years ago when, at the age of 15, she began volunteering at a local therapeutic riding facility. Since then, she has successfully managed show barns, equine rehab facilities, worked as a certified equine vet technician, and started training in classical dressage, before making her move into show jumping. In the late 2000s, Rachel obtained a certification in equine massage therapy, along with an equine massage training certification. After two life-altering jumping accidents, Rachel took time to build her professional career as an executive in both the oil and gas field, and the legal sector. Now she aims to continue her riding education and work towards her professional riding career in the discipline of dressage.

Is there a limit on how many people can attend?

Yes, the event will be limited to 6 guests for the riding portion. An additional 4 guests can be accommodated for the wine and trivia portion.

Do I need to sign any forms or show proof of age?

Yes. Upon arrival at the event, all attendees will need to sign a release of liability waiver and show proof of age via a valid ID.
